IJSA Queen

Thank you to the 2020 IJSA Queen, Kara Freebairn

Dear Membership,

It is that time of year again that we will be getting together for our annual meeting at the Illinois Beef Expo.  You will be receiving notice of this meeting in the mail from you board of directors.  As the chairman of the IJSA Queen committee I would like to invite all juniors of the Illinois Simmental Association to apply to become the 2021 IJSA Queen.  The Queen will be crowned at our annual meeting.  You must be a junior member of IJSA and 16 years of age or older.  To apply please send short essay explaining why you would like to be IJSA Queen by February 13th.  If further information is needed to make a decision you will be contacted. 

Expected duties of the queen include, passing out ribbons at the Beef Expo, State Preview Show, & Illinois State Fair.  You will also be representing the association and be recognized at as many breed sales and events as possible.  You must be available to do these duties and represent our breed in a positive manner.  Please let me know if any questions.
